Established in 2007, Building Excellence, LLC is a full-service general contractor serving Southern Arizona. With a long history as a solid industry leader in Tucson, BE offers a combined construction portfolio of over 75 years in the construction industry. 

Architects and clients alike have praised our reputation as efficient and professional general contractors. Building Excellence survived the economic downturn by basing their success on responsible fiscal strategies and solid industry relationships.

This team is trained in critical thinking through the processes of building, from the client's vision, through design inception, to project completion. EVIE METCALF - Project Manager

Evie has accumulated 33 years of experience in commercial construction, starting at 25 years old as a secretary to a general contractor, and working her way up to a seasoned construction manager. Evie has been with BE for 12 years, she manages the majority of our company's projects and all project administration requirements. She works closely with clients and the architectural team, as well as with Jamie and our team, to ensure all project administration is managed properly and dealt with in a timely manner.

TAYLOR COAKLEY - Project Coordinator

Taylor has been part of the Building Excellence team for 8 years. She started as our office administrator, her eagerness to learn has helped her work her way up to Project Coordinator. She wears multiple “hats” in our office, Taylor manages our front office, assists Tara with accounting including payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable, she works closely with project managers on all project administration, she also assists Jamie with advertising and marketing.

VICTOR HERNANDEZ - SuperintendentVictor has been with BE since 2016. Victor’s main discipline in rough carpentry created the foundational baseline for his current project superintendent path. His past experience as an assistant superintendent with a well-respected local general contractor provided him with a keen eye for quality control and safety on a project.

FIELD TEAM - Building Excellence has 10 field personnel who are skilled in various trade disciplines. Building Excellence will self perform trades on a project as we determine applicable to the project.
